2.5 to 5 years old

School Skills Academy is our premium, curriculum-based drop-off program for children ready to move beyond introductory experiences into a more structured classroom journey. Guided by a progressive curriculum, children develop early literacy and writing foundations through letter recognition, phonological awareness (sounds, rhymes, and syllables), beginning phonics, early word awareness, and comprehension through storytelling and discussion. Math and logic concepts, such as counting, patterns, shapes, and sorting, are integrated weekly to strengthen problem-solving and readiness skills. Subjects like Science & Art into the structured weeks, allowing for holistic learning. Throughout the week, children will target different subjects as part of the expertly designed curriculum.

In each session, children build the learning habits that matter: attention, persistence, following multi-step directions, and completing tasks independently. Through guided group activities and structured play, children also strengthen social development - learning to communicate clearly, collaborate, negotiate, and cooperate with peers in a supportive small-group setting.

School Skills Academy is best suited for children who are already comfortable with independent drop-off and group learning. If your child is new to separation, Preschool Prep offers a more gradual introduction to classroom routines.
